Aramis Vineyards

2011 White Label Sauvignon Blanc

In keeping with tradition, we have produced a wine that exhibits true varietal character and also a stylish, fresh and complex wine. The delicious guava, passionfruit and lime flavours are underpinned by a cleansing acidity, texture and enduring finish.

Region: Adelaide Hills , Alcohol: 13%

2009 White Label Shiraz Cabernet

Made up of 55% Shiraz & 45% Cabernet Sauvignon the 2009 is a great example of how complex the Australian blend of Shiraz & Cabernet can be while still being soft enough to enjoy immediately. The bouquet is a heady combination of dark berry & plum fruit intermingled with earthiness so well known in McLaren Vale. The first things that comes out on the palate is the plush McLaren Vale chocolate & dark berry fruit from the Cabernet followed by a white pepper spice & beautifully balanced mid weight palate driven by the Shiraz.

All leading to a long finish rounded off by fine chalky fruit tannins.

2009 Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine shows dark fruit and plum with a little violet and cedar. The palate is intense and rich indicative of the quality of Cabernet Sauvignon in 2004. The palate is very generous, fleshy and juicy before a firm finish of soft tannin. This wine can be cellared for many years.

2006 Black Label Shiraz

The mild conditions of this vintage resulted in a wine that is dark and dense in colour. Showing great varietal charateristics of plums and dark berries with wonderful white pepper spice, secondary characters of coffee and earth combined with textured balance between fruit, oak tannins & acid make for a sophisticated palate showing great structure and length. Very approachable in its early years especially with some Corrong beef but 6-9 years is recommended to fully reveal the charms of this wine.

2006 The Governor Syrah

Deep purple colour. The nose shows intense, complex cedary, fig, blackberry and blueberry with occasional pepper/spice. A powerful full-bodied berry fruit flavour, with a little sweet English toffee-like oak evident on the juicy, rolling finish. Restrained tannin and acidity coupled with rich alcohol, produce a seamless, peppery, velvety rolling length.

2005 O'Aristocratis Sparkling Syrah

Shiraz with bubble, the O'Aristocratis, like its name suggests is a powerful wine.  Best-poured cold it exhibits plum and berry fruit characters with pepper and savoury spice all mixed together with Christmas Cake – A heady mix!  The O'Aristocratis will love cellaring, its drinking window will fall on a special occasion between 2010 and 2020, but who really needs an excuse?
