Wine of Origin: Western Cape, South Africa.
Wine description: Fresh, lively and crisp tropical, granadilla, gooseberry and subtle green pea flavours are complemented by the floral notes. This wine is soft and well balanced.
Vintage conditions: Cool temperate conditions during the growing season resulted in small, concentrated berries. Veraison was even, therefore ensuring even ripening of grapes. The period was characterized by low disease incidence. During harvest, the cooler than average summer temperatures resulted in an excellent balance between sugar and acid. Lower yields deliver a well balanced wine that offers intense fruit flavours.

KWV Lifestyle Chenin Blanc 2009 - $11.99
Wine of Origin: Western Cape, South Africa.
Wine Description: Specially selected Chenin Blanc grapes were crushed and fermented with selected yeasts till dry. The wine was left on the primary lees for 6weeks, before being racked, blended, filtered and bottled. This off dry white wine is full of tropical fruit aromas and flavours. The wine is medium full and has a lingering aftertaste.
Vintage Conditions: Slow ripening conditions resulted in a later than usual start to the 2008 harvest. The cool and wet conditions during the 2007 winter period resulted in small berries with concentrated flavours. Slow ripening ensured slow sugar and phenolic development creating high expectations of the 2008 harvest.
Cellaring potential: Ready to enjoy now

Origin: Western Cape, South Africa.
Wine Description: This medium bodied wine is easy drinking and has black cherry, blackberry and spicy aromas and flavours. The wine is well balanced with a lingering aftertaste.
Vintage Conditions: Specially selected Merlot grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness. They were crushed and the juice was then fermented on the skins until dry. Malolactic fermentation took place, and the wine was then matured in 300 liter oak barrels for 12 months before being blended and bottled.
